Front sight for Ruger LC9 question

    Greetings,
I have noticed that the front sight on my Ruger LC9 is not completely centered on the slide. Holding it right-handed, the dove-tailed sight needs to go a fraction of an inch (my guess 32nd of inch) to the left. I tried to carefully tap it to the left but no go. I don't know what direction to go to remove and reseat it so I'm hoping there are some experts out there to help me out. Took it to the range yesterday and very happy with it's performance but would like it centered. Thanks in advance....

There are tools for drifting sights...

And some use brass rods and a small hammer...

Before you move the sight, how is the point of impact now at 15 yards?

    Are you on target?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

      Hi Hermosabeach...
I spent the afternoon yesterday shooting at steel targets so I can't tell you exactly the point of impact. I was very happy to consistently hit what I was aiming at.... Next time will try paper.
Are you thinking that I should just leave front sight alone?
