    Newest Model Elcan Specter DR

The question is, objectively and subjectively speaking, who loves them and who hates them and why?

Also, are all of the supposed bugs worked out?

Well, what does "latest production mean? Is it different from Specter DR built earlier this year? What is different?

I love the sight, but do not have faith in the ARMS mounts.

I got the previous version and am very happy with it on the range. I don't take it further than 300 yards though. Best money can buy ( if you're lucky to have some extra at this point ).

        Scott:

The A.R.M.S. mount was one of the things that was reconfigured on the latest production models. They repositioned them on the right side of the unit and significantly tightened up the locking power of the throw levers when mounted and locked on the rail.

The 1x to 4x lever was improved also with a positive lock-up at both positions.

I also think Elcan improve the sight adjustments. The chassis has been aesthetically changed also.

Finally, I think the 5.56 reticle has been changed also.

AFAIK, this is the latest production model:

Thank you kindly. I will have to check these out again at SHOT. I love the reticle and the illumination on these.
