    Trijicon MRO problems

Has any one else had problems with the MRO. I'm now on my third one. First one just didn't turn on , second on didn't adjust far enough right and I know it was the sight because the gun didn't have problems before getting sighted in. I sent that one to Trijicon and I had an American defense mount on it, well Trijicon ended sending me a new one and now I don't have my new mount. Needless to say I don't like Trijicon that much right now.

Ive got 2 of them, both are perfect, I like them better than my
        Aimpoint T1's/H1's.

Sighted mine in yesterday for a carbine class tomorrow. Seem to work fine. Double checking all my gear this evening and noticed the glass on the front of the MRO looked odd. A closer look revealed the glass is at an angle. The glass is captured on rings that are threaded into the sight. However, the rings are cross threaded. Pretty severely it appears. This sucks to say the least.

I had high hopes for this sight. I have dozens of Trijicon products with no major issues (except the Gun Scrubber eating the white paint on the older sights!). Now this. I realize Trijicon will make this right. But it's times like these that can change a persons mind about a company. Bummed.

The glass in the front of the optic is suppose to be at an angle.

You are correct gimlet! Thanks for the heads up. After further googling this awkward looking angle is intentional. Shows my lack of red dot knowledge.

                mro

Went through a lot of reviews and had a lot of positives so I sent back my 512, mounted it on my ar. First impressions of the dot are not the best it seems to be more tear drop then circle. Also put my eotech 3x and the tear drop gets worse. Taking it to the range manana well see how she does...the ar does feel noticeably lighter

You sent in your ADM mount with it?

Rule #1 don't send accessories with whatever you're getting fixed whether its a gun or sight.

Crazy you should say that I thought it was good...was at the range today and the range officer was saying how sharp the dot is. When I explained what I saw he said I may have astigmatism. I told him i wasnt afraid of gays at all (jk) If I focus on the target the dot bleeds, if I focus on the dot it sharpens

MRO complaints increasing. Read a few on M4Carbine and other forums. I am waiting on gen 2 before jumping in.

Got my MRO last week. MRO seems to be working fine, I on the other hand have mild astigmatism.

Hesitant to send in my 512, aimpoints warranty is spotty and trijicons red dot record sucks!

I have 5 of them I had one that did not turn on out if the box. Trijicon sent me a new one. By far my optic of choice. I like it better than my T1 or PRO's. The dot is sharper to me than the others even though I do have some astigmatism. I also like the adjustments without caps and less brightness settings is better for me as well no need to run through 11 settings. It has an off just before the bright setting too so I am more likely to turn it of since it's one click to on. All in all I think they're great!
