DIY Scout Sights

Ok...so I want to mount some iron sights on my Mauser 93 that I (*cringe*) chopped down to 16 inches and am doing a scout rifle with. For the life of me, I cannot find any front or rear sights that I can tap/thread or even braze onto the barrel or receiver. Anybody know where to look?

Time to just drill & Tap receiver, add eggs mont, and cut/ weld bolt.
