    Acog or?

Can someone with the right expertise tell me if this is a genuine Acog and if so what model? It has no name on it or serial number.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

There is also no serial number underneath the red dot

Every ACOG I've ever seen has a QR code and markings on it. That doesn't look legit. How's the view through the glass?

I have a real Acog and when I compare it the quality seems the same. the weight feels the same too.

          looks pretty fake to me.

Lack of lasered on QR code and serial number
Lack of "Trijicon Acog", model #, and "made in USA" on the housing
4 bolts holding the housing together aren't the correct socket head allen bolts
lack of forging line along the top of housing indicates cast aluminum material
          Caps over adjusters appear incorrect
trijicon mounts have round knurled nuts, not hex nuts
Thats not a Trijicon or Docter RMR, appears to be nameless with unknown mount
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Yes you are correct. I just discovered that its a airsoft replica. its worth about 130$. Now I have to just figure out how to get rid of it.

Throw it up on fleabay an airsoft guy will buy it. You didn't pay full price to someone for it did you?

Ya I will do that. No I did not. I bought it for a little less than it is worth. Even though I won't lose money in this transaction I still feel like an idiot for buying it.

Well lesson learned. If a deal is too good to be true it's too good to be true. Whenever buying such a high end optic make sure your buying it from a reputable seller. If your still interested in getting one try liberty optics they are a vendor here on calguns. I bought my TA31 from them and they gave me a great deal just expect to pay around 1k.

Hey, just hang on to it. Those tend to work really good on small .22lr rifles. I've seen some worthwhile reviews of similar airsoft scopes on YouTube and they all held zero. Just food for thought.
