    Need scope recommendations

Im in the market for a new scope. Its going on a 6.5 creedmoor ar platform.
Leaning towards a vortex pst 6-24x50. Not sure what would benefit me more, a first focal plane or second focal plane.
all its going to be used for bench shooting.

What do you guys recommend and why?

If you are shooting at variable distances of targets with variable sizes, you will want the first focal plane. It allows you to measure your correction in the reticle with any zoom. For a AR 6.5 Creedmoor, the first focal plane will be almost universally preferred. The Vortex PST has been one of the most common entry level FFP scopes, and it usually serves people just fine.

What's your range and, are you hunting or paper punching?
