The Inforce WML has been reported to have battery drain. I don't know about the APL. I was going to buy a WML until I heard about the Battery drain problem. I don't want a light that drains batteries. I know that some handhelds that use electronic controls drain their batteries slowly. But having a weapon light drain is not acceptable IMHO.

Maybe someone can tell us if Inforce has fixed the problem.

Do a google search Inforce battery drain
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

I also have an apl on an m&p9, and have found it with a dead battery once.
I think it was on its side engaging the light while in a range bag.

My WML (single function) doesn't appear to have any issues with battery drain.

I recently pulled one out for a training session on flashlights for the employees - hadn't touched it since the same class last year - fired right up. That was about three months back. Picked it up this morning to look under the couch for the cat's toy, no issues.

So mine has had the same battery for at least 15 months.
