Leupold Mark 4 or ACOG for LWRCI Tricon Mk6

I have my new Tricon on DROS right now and originally was going to throw my Elcan on it, but decided that I want to keep the Elcan on my Block 2. This leaves me in the position of needing a new optic. I'm thinking either a TA31, or going with a Mark 4 MR/T 1.5x5.

Any opinions, or recommendations on these two?

Thanks for any advice or recommendations.

I prefer the MR/T 1.5-5, it's a more precise optic. It can be fairly quick on the 1.5 setting especially with the illumination. You can also use the BAC method with it. I feel it is a more versatile optic and will serve you well, especially on that rifle.

Do you want a fast-handling and handy rifle? Get the acog. If you want, put an rmr on it for 1x. With an acog the weight of the optic is so much further back, and thus easier to control, compared to AR's with longer optics that hang over the front handguard. And you can mount red dots with them if you're not comfortable with BAC up close.

If the rifle will only be used for bench shooting, then I'd get the Mark 4. For taking classes or a potential SHTF rifle, I'd go with the ACOG.
