Leupold Mark 4 or GG&G scope mount...

I am just putting together a Remmy 700SS 5r milspec and would like to know what scope base to go with... I only mention those two cause they are on sale right now....

Anyone have any suggestions?

What scope are you gonna use? I'm new to scopes as well but didn't know GG&G made a mount, never read any reviews on it, but have read that the mark 4s are decent. Alot of people like the badger or seekins base.

Mk 4. Good enough for the M24 good enough for me.

I would recommend Badger, Nightforce, and Leupold. GG&G make good bases but Badger and Nightforce are the best I have used and Leupold do the job well.

If you're going to be shooting to distance, make sure its a 20 MOA base. I love my Seekins stuff.

If you are not changing your stock, a Badger Medium (.885") or a Nightforce Low (.885") will work. (PM me, I have a set of Badger 885" and a set of Seekins rings for sale)

Base-wise, I love Badger 20MOA or Nightforce 20MOA, I had both.
