I have a few of these and have used them in classes before. It is not a bad optic at all and hard to kill evidently.

Vortex Sparc II

I respectfully TOTALLY disagree. I have had two of them and have had to exchange both because they stopped working. I think the on/off button under the rubber housing is not very sturdy and ultimately something happens to the spring and it stops turning off an on.
For the price I won't get another, and now with the Trijicon MRO there's really no reason to get a SPARC II.
I will say that when the SPARC is working it is a fine optic.

I have a SPARC II and have had zero issues.

I have at least 5 Sparc I's and I recently thought I had a problem. Every time I tried to turn the sight off it would immediately turn back on. After a quick internet search it turns out they do this when the battery is almost dead. Changed the battery, problem solved.Comment
