Which scope ??

I have a Rem. 700 in 30-06 26" varmint barral need scope just for target
100-500yds. Here are the two i'm looking at.

One appears to be fixed magnification, the other adjustable. Were you leaning one way or the other?

I was thinking fixed less hassle but adjustable is fine just wanted to know if any
one has them and how they work.
