Burris pepr quick release mount wobble

Anyone else have one of these? I have the regular non quick release model on another AR and it's been great. The quick release version is wobbly as hell though. The thing is all over the place and definitely not holding a zero.

You know there is an adjustment for that right?.. You adjust the QD tension screws for the rail you are using it on.

Never mind, I found how to do it. Going back out to the range on Saturday and will test it out again.

Yeah, just find the right torque range to keep it on solid without moving. If it's for an AR, they work just fine. On large rifles, generally people do not use QD mounts because at the level you need to hold it steady, the mount is no longer "QD" and regular bolts actually become quicker. Regular bolts are stronger and will hold your position upon removing and remounting pretty well as long as you torque to the same spec. In either case, there is no such thing as a PERFECT return to zero.
