Anybody buy one recently, are they are still available, since they were replaced with the Gen II

You can still find them scattered here and there at some vendors… I didn’t realize how much time has passed since, the inventory blowout happened in October 2014…

There is also a limited selection on turret and reticle options at the places I did look…

Yep, I told everyone that needed a good scope on a budget to get their butts out and get one. If you missed out, that is no problem as you'll be happier with the Gen II or another scope that requires a larger expenditure.

You get what you pay for, but in the case of closeouts, inventory clearing, and demos--sometimes you can get a bit more.

With all gun stuff after you have a few scopes, you generally do not need to shop for a scope. Have patience and wait for the right deals.

Buying scopes is a lot like buying cars. The astute shoppers do not pay full MSRP.
