    Us Optics sr-4c

So I've been wanting an sn4 forever, I waited and then the dfp came out. I waited some more and no more sn4, its now the sr-4c which reads to be the same thing as the dfp.

Does anyone know the real differences with the sn4 dfp vs the sr-4c?

Also in their catalog the sr-8c states specifically that its ffp with the red dot in the rear. The sr-4c description does not have that specification.

    Thanks guys!
Man, this place has gone bonkers.

I am not personally familiar with this optic, but since I see that you have no responses, I will recommend that you call the manufacturer to check on the specifications to see if/how the models are different. In terms of published specs, I have seen a lot of really poorly published specs on the internet with respect to optics that are vague or incorrect. Thus, it's best to verify with the marker to avoid uncertainty. That's what I do on pretty much all optics to avoid guesswork.

There are a few differences between the two. The DFP had a reticle in each focal plane and the reticle in the second focal plane was not daylight visible.

In the SR-4C it has a FFP reticle and a second focal plane red dot. The ret dot is a daylight visible 4 MOA red dot. I would say the SR-4C makes up for all the shortcomings with the DFP. I hope this helps answer your question. If not you can always e-mail me at jason.kyle@usoptics.com
