    ATN OTS monocular goggle adapter?

Waiting for OpticsPlanet or ATN to respond but.... I bought the ATN Goggle kit for PVS14 style device thinking it would mount my ATN OTS thermal monocular but my OTS does not have a rail-like mount installed on it for the goggle's piece to attach to. There is threading for what I think could install such adapter I'm just not finding it anywhere or looking in the wrong places.

Any ideas? Or maybe this OTS model wasn't made for mounting to goggle kit?

Not sure what the system you are mounting to looks like, but on the face you are showing us looks like you are tapped for what's most likely a 25-20 mounting screw so that's gotta be able to mount to something.

Nothing is listed in the user guide http://www.atncorp.com/ATNNightVisio..._UserGuide.pdf concerning use as a head-mounted monocular, and a goggle kit is not listed as an accessory.

I spoke with Eli at ATN this morning - he says that they do not offer a compatible goggle kit for the OTS, but it is compatible with standard tripods.

I was told that the decision was made to position the device as a commercial unit, instead of a military unit, allowing them a wider distribution at a lower price.

Still seems like the option to use it hands-free would have been a bonus, no matter the end use.

For those that don't know, 25-20 screws are what standard American tripods use. You can pick up one of these screws at your local automotive or hardware store and build a mount from this.
