Replacement screws for Burris PEPR mount

One of the screws for the scope ring on my Burris PEPR 30mm (the non-QD type) is slightly stripped, I'll like to replace it and re-mount the scope with blue loktite this time.

Can someone tell me where can I replacement/better screws for my Burris PEPR? Thanks.

Just did, but I reckon folks here will have answer quicker.

I did found out the screw is 8-40 thread and .205 head. Not easily available it seems, looks like I'll have to call Burris tomorrow and see if they either sell or give me a pack of spare screws.

Yea that's why I suggested E-mailing them. I have tried locating small screws like this previously and no luck.

Quick follow up. Called Burris this morning and they said they will send out replacement for free.

I think for my next scope mount, I'm going to see if the screws they use are hard to find and I will only buy those that I can find replacement screws easily. Not that I plan to break screws on a regular basis but its a bit of a pain if you strip one.

Burris is pretty solid in my opinion. I bought a RDS from another member here and used the warranty. No questions asked replacement.

No need to loctite the screws. Just torque them down to 12 inch pounds.

If you don't want to wait, most Ace Hardware locations have a section where you can but individual screws, in both imperial and metric sizes. It's saved me quite a few times when some tiny screw decides to hide from me.
