They did have 20 Million revenue in 2014, somebody was buying (or rather some entity).

The time might have been too soon for the technology....
Night vision took decades to go from Gen 1 to 4
now Gen 3 is affordable (ish)
Thermal has dropped from $40K to a few K
I bet we see this technology again in a few years...Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
(thanks to Jeff Cooper)Comment

Of course they sold a few, specifically to Remington who stuck it on a rifle and sold it for a ridiculous price... announced in 2013 and put up for sale in 2014 then promptly discontinued. They might have also made some cash licensing it to hollywood or game developers.Comment
