My ak47 utg mount issue

Im looking to buy a mount for it. But the mount I bought was a utg brand. My buddy has a ak74 arsenal brand. The 2 mounts will slide onto my ak mount but one of the mount u can lock the latch. But it won't lock. The other mount it will slide on but u can't lock it. The latch can't move. Both of my buddies ak74 and saiga 12 mount are the same.
So I'm wondering do I need a new mount?

Every mount I've seen is adjustable, you need to adjust tension on the mount to match your rifles rail.

The 2 mounts my buddy has are some older brands. One is fixed or part of the old Russian fixed 3.5x zoom scoop made in Russia or some other euro country and another mount is made in Belarus. I don't see any adjustment features.
Here is a pic of one of his mounts.
So is it because of the brand and its some older mount or its my utg mount that is picky with certain brand mounting system?

Google it.....every ak mount adjusts..inclding the one in the photo...Its actualy very easy.
