Best 30mm mount for the buck

OK so i learned my lesson the hard way on this. I bought a Bushnell Throwdown PCL from PSA and ended up picking up a CCOP MNT for 20ish something dollars URL Below

It was highly rated and does seem to hold scope firmly and clamps down nicely to my mp15 sport upper receiver rail. Took it to the range, had to dial in a bunch of extra windage which i thought was weird but whatever. Got home and was inspecting it and i noticed that it seems the mount is not square to the gun. (not perpendicular to the rails?) its canted off to the left which pushed the reticle off to the left which makes sense why i had to dial in extra windage.

That being said the following two questions are this:

    a) if the scope holds zero and all that does it really matter. Visually on 1x i can see my railed handguard and its not centered in the view picture. annoying but im not sure thats really a big deal. I'm not out of windage adjustment .

    b) as 30mm cantilever mounts go who's got the best bang for the buck. I've been looking at Weaver brand canti as well as leupold IMS, burris pepr and primary arms canti mount

Just wanted to get some other thoughts on these mounts and see are there any OMFG STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE or best one EVER dont buy anything else.

      permanent mount - Aero precision

QD - ADM, Bobro. Don't bother with PEPR they are heavy and crude and return to zero for crap.

Best bang for the buck? ADM / American Defense is it.

Best cheap-ER mount? Try a Leupold 1 piece.

Or talk to Jimja on here for one of his 1pc mounts- that will be about as cheap as you'll ever get. And *ALL* the low end mounts are made in China.

Anybody used or have experience with the weaver mount? Its made in the USA and the pricepoint seems reasonable too.

Best 30mm mount for the buck

I own an ADM mount that I love, but there are many good options out there. Check out this comparison

My whole goal on this is to not break the bank. The rifle that is on is the Mp15 sport 16" barrel with 1/8 5R barrel..its very accurate as it stands but its no long range match rifle. I'm hoping to get something that isn't crappy made in china stuff but also isnt 150-200 bucks. For grin's i'm posting a pic of the rifle in its current config/mount.

I've tried a lot of mounts, and settled on Larue and ADM.

Difference is, Larue can scuff your rail, ADM doesn't. And you can adjust tension on the ADM without tools.

Yup, I mounted a PCL throwdown to a Weaver mount. It was fine semiauto fire, but after bumpfiring 30 rounds the thumbscrews came loose. Im going to apply some loctite and fire semi-auto only. It should be fine for regular range use.

I like ADM mounts, which are about middle of the road for price. On a budget, I've found the UTG one piece mounts are pretty solid as well, but don't return to zero quite as well as the ADM. The ones I have used typically return to within about 1 to 1.5 inches of zero. They seem to perform about as well as the Burris PEPR mounts, but have a slightly lower mounting height:
