Which would you buy? Elcan OS4X or Trijicon TR25

Hello, I have an ar influenced by SOPMOD BLOCK 2. Not exact. But was wondering which would you choose? Elcan OS4X (not block 2) is a fixed 4x optic. I already have a RMR to put on top of the Elcan. And the Trijicon TR25-C (not block 2) is a 1-6x scope. I would get Elcan SpecterDR but not wanting to spend that $2300 price tag.
Please let me know your opinions or other optic choices you would recommend between $800-$1500. Thanks!
Please excuse the light I have on my rifle it is only temporary.

Yeah, true. But the TR accupoint is comparable just s 1-4x. I should have specified. Just wondering who would buy what or have other recomendations.

Are you talking about the TR24 AccuPoint or the TR25 AccuPower 1-4x? I think the TR25 AccuPowers are available now, although I'd still choose the TR24 over it, due to the no-battery illumination.
I don't think fixed magnification optics are very useful.

The brand new Trijicon 1-6x TR25-C scopes are not available yet. They should be shipping in about 4 weeks.

I'd chose the TR25-C for a "do everything" optic. I never liked the reticle choices on the TR24.

My original post is about the TR25-C 1-6x. But the Trijicon AccuPoint is out and is a 1-4x so I was saying I might as well get the 1-6x (when it comes out) instead of the Trijicon AccuPoint 1-4x if that makes sense.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think the TR25 1-6x will be the optic to get but I can't say for sure until I have my hands on one. Strangely, I think the only good reticle is the MIL DOT one.

Specs on the TR-25 1-6x look good, but the reticle choice is a letdown. I'd rather wait for the ACOG with P.A.'s ACSS reticle.

If it were me, it would be the TR25-C.

Having not looked through either, between those 2 I would easily go with the Trijicon. 1x will be better for the close stuff and 6x will be better for the long stuff. Having the option to do either makers it much more useful than the Elcan. Also, Trijicon glass is great and they are generally very tough.

But, I have a theory.. I think you want the ELCAN because it will look the part with your block 2 rifle and you really want the Specter. If this is true, just save your pennies and get the Specter because if your anything like me you will end up buying what you really want in the end anyway.

                      ^^^^
The Spector is amazing. Have it in 308 reticle for Scar 17 and 556 for ar15. Also have trijicon 4x acog. I love the clarity and detail on Elcans. Amazing optics!
