Konus Scope

I've come to the realization that I need a decent spotting scope. Unfortunately funds are not unlimited. I'm looking at the Konus 15-45X65 zoom with angled eye piece as a possibility. It's in the price range I can mostly afford. Any one have any feed back on this scope, or something comparable? I like the fact that the body can rotate on the attachment ring, something that the Celestron doesn't do. I'll be using it mostly at 100 and 200 yards.

Konus makes very good optics(spotting scopes). I personally have not used that one but they have an excellent product. When I get a good spotting scope it will probably be a Konus or Metopa.

I bit the bullet today and bought a brand new in box Konuspot 80 on line for $170 shipped. I think I did ok.

Konus spotting scopes are some of the best for the money. I prefer them to other spotting scopes in the price range.

I looked thru one at a 200 yd match, Iwas surprised,I thought they were like Tasco or Barska. It was very good.

I had one for a while til I upgraded to a Kowa. The Konus will serve you well. The only reason I upgraded was for Kowa's long eye relief 25X eyepiece.

Konus arguably makes the best bang for the buck spotting scope... Check out their 20-60x80

I use the Konus 20-60x80 and it works great...very happy with it. Also, I have another brand new one for sale in The Marketplace that my brother opted out of...in Orange County
