    MP5 22 front sight question

I used a bore sight to zero my irons on my new MP5 A5 .22 and the issue is that the front blade is higher and to the left of the laser dot. Meaning that the point of impact for the barrel is lower then the sight blade. My question is how can I correct this if the front sight is non adjustable?

And 2nd question is I want to zero my new PA micro dot for 25 yards. Whats the best way to do this? I dont necessarily have that distance to use the bore sight on in my house. So should I do it at 10 yards and leave a certain amount of inches between the dot and the laser point? I did this with my AR15 to zero my other RDS for 100 yards.

No advice on your first question.

2nd question, print out a 1" black square onto the center of an 8.5x11" piece of paper, go to your local range, borrow a sand bag, set up nice and comfortably, preferably seated or prone, establish a good NPOA. Breathe, fire on respiratory pause. With irons, I do a 6 o'clock hold or "pumpkin on the post", whereas with a red dot I go bullseye or directly over my intended target, in this case the 1" black square.

Start at 10 yds, send 3-5 rnds. See where they impact, adjust accordingly.

Send a new target out to 25 yds, send 3 rnds. Your elevation will probably be slightly off, but a few clicks will have you spot on.

Have fun plinking away for the rest of the day.
