Scope Refinish

[Fire in the Hole]

I have just bought a Ruger 77 Hawkeye in .280. It has a satin stainless steel barrel, and receiver, with a black synthetic stock. I have a really nice Leoplod scope that I would like to mount on it. The scope is blued. Does any body know if this scope can be sent out to be hard chromed without ruining the scope or effecting its optics? Approximate price?

I would say just get a SS scope it would most likely cheaper.
