Thanks I'll be calling in the next few days when it's pay day! Also I would like to ask you the same question I asked Reno because both of you have experience and give good advice. Can you recommend a config. for me, I'm ambidextrous but I'm right hand and eye dominant(go-to stance or "primary" I guess I should say) and vice versa with left hand w/ left eye.Comment

The bracket that comes with the PVS-14 that you use to attach the optic to the mount, has the ability to adjust from one eye to the other. Its spring loaded with locking teeth, so you push in to disengage the locking feature and move it to where you want it and let go, the spring pushes the two pieces back together, locking it in place.
I've never attempted to switch it from eye to eye on the go, you would have to bring up away from your face to clear your nose, I've always just set the mount and bracket where I need it for best viewing on my left eye and left it. Only time I've ever used the NVG on my right eye was just holding it in hand.
Honestly, my recommendation is when you get all the gear, play around with set-ups to see where it is the most comfortable for you, tighten everything down so it stays put and leave it there. I have mine set so the bracket is locked into the helmet mount, I just take the whole thing off of the helmet for storage, another benefit of the L4 G11 mount over the issued rhino.

The L3 units handle recoil better allowing you to mount them on 5.56, 7.62x39, 300 blackout, and 6.8.
The Pinnacle units work better in darkness because they are thin filmed. Pinnacle units can only be mounted on semi auto 5.56.
