I do, but with the Vortex Viper 1-4X rather than the Crossfire. Crossfire wasn't out yet when I got mine, I'm actually curious how they compare. Have you looked through the Crossfire yet?
I'm extremely happy with this setup and the versatility it provides. 1X is quick up close, dial up to 4X to reach out a ways. I'm not nearly as experienced shooting at distance as most of the guys on here, but I'm able to ring an 8" steel target pretty easily @ 200 yards with this setup. That was actually limited by the places I shoot more than the scope, I know it'll work further if I can find a place to set up.
The illumination on mine isn't really daylight visible, but it's really quite good without it, the reticle is plenty clear. I think the option of having an actual Red Dot (in addition to the illuminated reticle) to use for CQ snap shots would be a great idea.
Cons:
Illumination I guess, it doesn't really bother me.
Adds some weight if you're carrying it all day, but so will any scope.
PEPR Mount is a great deal for the money, but some people will tell you have to spend twice as much on LaRue, ADM, etc.
I got the QD mount but I've yet to take it off so I can't speak to how well it would hold a zero if taken on & off. It's been fine for me.
Pros:
Umm, pretty much everything else. 1-4X is a great setup IMO.
