Trijicon Binoculars and Spotting Scope any good?

    Hey All,

I haven't really seen any reviews about these yet, just wondering if anyone has been able to see them in person. For the price, they aren't bad at all. Input?

If it makes any difference, I'm comparing them to the Vortex Razor HD models, and will be 10x42. I can get both for about the same price, give or take a few bucks.

From my personal experience, I'd take the Vortex.

        Trijicon scopes have decent glass.
I would like to take a look through these binoculars

To complicate things, I realized I can get a set of Swarovski SLC binos for about the same price... Thoughts?

I would choose Swarovski over Trijicon if the price is the same. Swarovski and Leica are my favorite glass. It's like looking though binoculars without any lenses; it's that clear.

Knowing more details and the prices of your considerations would help influence the decision.

I haven't looked through the new Trijicons, so I can not offer any opinions. I would like to take a look their binos as well. Fluoride lenses at ~$700? That is very interesting. Spotter at ~$1900? ..That is not very interesting as there are other contenders in that price range.

Which ever you choose, take your time and enjoy comparing them.

I would like to add, a new pair of Swaro SLC at ~$700 would easily get the vote.

Well, the price isn't the same, it's similar... hahahaha I can get the SLC models for around $870-950 used, depending on condition right now.

The Vortex Razor HD models are about $900, the Trijicon I'm guessing I can get around $800, and the used Swarovskis four under $1000 for sure. To me, all within the same ballpark. I'm going to be using these to glass hillsides and such when hunting. I'd really like the Swarovski EL SV models, but no way to swing that kind of money right now.

I am looking forward to seeing the Trijicon Spotting Scope and Binoculars. Trijicon uses excellent glass but I would be surprised if they were better then Swarovski.
