    Long range optic

Well, I recently got rid of my old Vortex Viper off my long range rifle and have been looking high and low for an optic to replace it. I am looking to keep the budget between $1000 and $1300 for a FFP, MOA/MOA scope. I originally decided to go with the Viper HST, so I purchased one and it seemed like a decent scope with good glass, but I had trouble with mounting it comfortably with the 4" eye relief and later decided I wanted to step up to FFP so I sent it back. After reading reviews on the Burris XTR II I started looking into those and liked the new ones they released with the SCR MOA reticle so I placed an order for one of those, however those aren't going to be available until June and I am not sure I want to have my long range rifle out of commission for that long.

Long story short, are there any other recommendations for similar optics in that price range?

This is the best you will do in that price range for FFP and MOA/MOA. The discontinued Gen 1 Razors at $1,349:
