What RDS would be good for my .22 MP5?

Please help me choose a quality red dot optic for my new MP5 in .22 cal. Im not looking to spend in excess of $200. And im wanting to find something thats 4MOA at the largest. Preferably 2MOA. Suggestions or opinions?
    Thanks

I have a Sightmark Ultrashot on my 15-22 that I bought on a whim for $70, and I've been very pleasantly by it.

You can choose from 4 different reticles; Dot, Dot in Circle, Dot w/Crosshair, and I think Circle w/Crosshair. I believe the dot is 3MOA

Daylight visible, it's held zero so far, I actually liked it enough that I just bought a reflex version of it used from a Calgunner to put on my Buck Mark.

I can't speak for how it holds up to recoil, but it's been great fun on my .22

    Mind you, I'm 5'7", 180, with a visible Ab...

I was looking at those. But I read alot of bad reviews about the sights coming damaged or arriving as used products but being sold as new.

Either the Primary Arms Micro Dot or Bushnell TRS-25 would get my vote for a .22LR plinker.

I bought mine from Turner's so I didn't have to worry about that, but I'm real happy with it for a plinker.

I made up a fun game last time I went shooting, my wife was with me and I set up a bunch of tin cans (Alpo, I save my dog food cans. Great free reactive targets)
on a 2X4 across some survey stakes. My wife would shoot them with my scoped 795, and then when they hit the ground and started rolling down the hill, I go from low ready with the 15-22 w/Sightmark RDS and pick 'em off on the roll.
About that time she knocks another one off, pew, pew, pew!
She knocks another down, mag change, pew, pew, pew, and so on. Super fun!

When reading reviews I always try to keep in mind that someone who's mad is way more likely to take the time to write a review than someone who's happy.

I traded for 3 sm 1400 ultrashotd, traded/sold 2 and kept one, mine has been reliable and haven't gotten any complaints on the other ones. one time mine kept turning off from 7.62x39 recoil and I realized it only had 2 batteries in it instead of 3, and they were moving around. Ithough it was pretty impressive it worked with 2 at all, afterwards. Not a business sight by any means, but if you want a fake eotech for the range for 70ish dollars....

I just put a TRS-25 on mine, and I love it.

What model MP5 do you have?

ETA: I see from your post in Rimfire Firearms that it's a Walther, same as mine. I'll post a link later to the top rail you'll need in order to mount most red-dot sights.

ETA2: It's this one. Most other MP5 top-mount rails are made for the centerfire version, and MAYBE they'll fit on the rimfire version. The MFI is the only one I was able to find that's made specifically for the Walther .22 version.

This is the mount I use. I had a 20 dollar mount from Amazon that the claws broke on in only a couple outings. This mount has been solid.

I have a Aimpoint CompM on mine (2 MOA dot) ... way overkill for a .22 but I had it available.

^^^ optics planet has a good call on the TRS-25. super cheap. I have extras in case one breaks just whip out another. But they don't break. $50-65

or I like the sparc 2 from vortex.

used fast fire 3 as well. They are all so similar.

Same mount as the one I posted; HKparts.net is the exclusive seller of that part for MFI. Good to see I'm not the only one having a good experience with it.
