Extra Battery Storage For Aimpoint T-1

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this and do you think it will hold up well?
I thought it was a good idea so I thought I'd ask on here

A lot of people use the Larue mount for that purpose. It should be good to go. I personally store batteries in my MIAD grip or in my stock's storage compartment.
