So I never really thought about this before till today. I have a Bushnell 3200 10x40 scope on my .308. The clicks on the turrets move the impact of the round 1/4" at 100 yards. What would one click move it at 200, 300, 400 yards and so on. May be a dumb question but I don't know the answer.

The math would be 1/2" at 200 yards and 1" at 400 yards...not sure the calc for 300 yards...probably 3/4"...
oh so the math, sorry I believe is every 100 yards is +1/4" ... from the base 100 yards...someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's the calculation...DJBooya

You really need to check it to see if its moving .25" at 100, .25 MOA, or some deviation therefrom. .25 MOA is not .25" at 100. 1 MOA is 1.047" at 100 yards. Doesn't seem like a lot of difference but it adds up the more dope you have dialed. Take a big piece of paper (maybe 35-40" or so tall) and put it up at 100 yards. Make a spot to shoot at toward the bottom of the paper. Shoot a group then dial up 30 MOA. Shoot a group again while still aiming at the same spot. Measure the distance between the 2 groups and see what the adjustments really come out to be.
Typically the math is 1" at 100 is 2" at 200, 10" at 1000, etc.GAP Team Shooter 5Comment
