Which mount for the aimpoint ml3.

Which mount for my aimpoint ml3 on a stag 2ht. Bobro 180 or larue LT129 (I think that's what it's called.) Cantilever mounts.

LaRue or GG&G. I have both.

I read in another post that the gg&g does not fit properly because of the ml3's rubber cover.

Mine works fine, with a rubber cover. I have the ML3 2MOA on two of my rifles and I can't say that I prefer one over the other. I'd say whatever you can get the best price on!

Which one do you have? The mount with the spare battery compartment makes the rubber cover not look normal, but you can still fit it on.

            LaRue still owns.

If LaRue is an option, LaRue is the answer.

Check out the American Defense cantilever. Very sturdy and secure.

Cantilevered version with quick detach. I forget the model number, 1191 maybe?

OK... the reason people say it "Doesn't fit" (it does) is because the scope cover bulging from the offset (instead of upright) ring makes it end up looking like Quasimodo.

Here's the mount and below is the cover. You can see there's "space" for a protruding mount at the top and sides, but not at the 45-degree angle of the GGG mount.

LaRue all the way. I mean who else expects a paint mixer, bottle opener, hat, and meat rub from a gun company.

Yeah, I always choose my gear by what kind of flea market stuff a company throws in with the order.

Seriously, all that stuff would go right in the recycle bin. I barely have room to store the stuff I want or need.

BTW, did LaRue ever start supporting California shooters, or do they still not allow their lowers to be shipped here? I haven't kept up lately.
