I have an old hk benelli m-1.I have decided to place an optic on it and I would appreciate suggestions on both the optic and a mount.I will need to have a local gunsmith do the drilling and tapping.The purpose will be shooting slugs out to 50 yds and buckshot to multiple targets under time pressure to 25.Also home defense-price matters but I am willing to spend for improved function.Thanks

Put a Burris Speed bead mount on it and use a Burris Fast Fire red dot.
