    Primary Arms 4X Prism Scope

I just received this scope. I got to say the shipping was lightening fast. After reading the reviews I decided to snag one for my AR 308 platform. In the past on this platform I have had a Leupold VxIII 4-14LR SF , Aimpoint red dot and a Trijicon ACOG. I went from Trojan flip up iron sights to scopes back to sights again. Basically looking for the best practical platform for a medium range acquisition. The PA for the money is impressive and the ACSS is a well thought out reticule. An ACOG it is not but at a quarter of the price it is a bargain. The glass is bright and eye relief is good. The glass from edge to edge is good . As far as tack sharp optics it falls short but it is not a issue for what this scope is designed for. Cant wait to take it out and see what it can do for myself.

If you want tack sharp, go for the 4-14x ACSS HUD.

The description the box says fully multicoated but I have my doubts. A low fixed power scope even with just multicoated glass should be pretty clear. If I was to have a variable powered scope especially at higher powers it would be a must to have fully multicoated glass. This 4 power is for quick acustion not precision shooting. As long as the scope holds zero the glass is not a concern. I leave that for my spotting scope and binoculars.
