range case question

right now i only have a P01, so i just use a shotlock 1911 box to carry it to the range along with the earmuff, goggles and ammos all in a wheelie bag.

but soon i'll get a 1911 and for sure my wheelie bag won't be big enough to hold them.

for those of you that carries multiple guns to the range, how do you guy carry it? trying to keep everything in 1 case including the protections and then just need to bring ammo in a small bag.

i'm open to all suggestions... especially DIY fruggle cases too. this way i can save some money towards ammo.

Here's what I got for my range trips.

Husky Tool Bag
Holds 2 pistol cases easily and I think I've even carried 4 one time. I usually take 2 1911's and my 92fs along with 2-300 rds of ammo in the bag. Still has room for targets 2 sets of eye and ear pro (I always carry an extra), my reloading notebook, roll of tape, etc. Plus, notice the pockets on the outside, they are great for holding your mags. They even have pockets lining the inside as well. Small lock though the zipper pulls and you are good to go.

Inexpensive and made to carry some weight.

Big ol' backpack works for me...have had 3 boxed handguns + ammo + gear...no problem. A wheelie bag??!!

Yup.. a wheelie bag... but it's not big right to hold my ammo can though.
