What I like about it is, I can mount it to my wall or floor or whereever. The handgun versions are approved for airplanes, car, or home usage for securing your weapon. It is also relatively cheap compared to a gun safe (although not as effective).
They also make one for shotguns and M16/M4 type rifles.
