When up at the ranch at night, pitch black, I open carry because of four legged critters, around the buildings. I have a 624 3" which is heavy, makes me feel better than a J frame and I can load a slug of my choice. The 624 is actually heavier than a 1911 or XD45.
Anyone have a Simply Rugged sized for a 3" N frame. Does it hold the pistol well, outdoor work movement. Does it support the weight of the N frame without sagging on the belt? I run a heavy duty 1.75" belt.
