What do you use to lock your gun cases?

Right now I lock my range bag and gun cases with big honkin master locks. It's a pain because they are way too bulky/heavy, have too many keys to keep track of, and are total overkill for the purpose of merely staying compliant with the "secure locked container" law.

Is there a common locking mechanism people use that is small and lightweight? Ideally I'd get a whole bunch of them keyed alike.

Yep, I enjoy combo locks because there are no keys to loose/forget/break/etc. If you get "set your own combination' locks, you can set all your locks to have the same combo. You only have one combo to memorize for all your locks.

You can get this at Home Depot. When the combo is set to open, the latch pops out and makes it effortless to pop the lock off. I like it; they're about $7. Similar to all the examples posted before this post.

Thanks. Set your own combo locks... duh... much better than keeping track of keys. The TSA approved bit is a nice touch so I can actually use them for luggage locks too.

I'm still looking for the smallest, lightest, cheapest ones around. I have no illusions of stopping someone from breaking into my range bag, I just need a super basic lock to stay compliant.

Those masterlocks almost look a little too nice... and the cheapest ones I found were $7 each on Amazon.
