Ordered some RAASCO grips about two weeks ago.
I called yesterday to find out the status of the order.
The guy who answered (Damn, I'm bad with names and just can't remember but he actually makes the grips) told me he made a mistake on the cut and didn't cut the thumb relief on one of the sets I ordered.
"Wow" I thought. An honest person! I didn't get any excuses. I didn't get any BS. Honest mistake? I can live with that.
He said he'd make 'em up "tomorrow" and ship 'em out.
It's now after 6pm the next day and what do I get? A "shipped notice".
Like I said, an honest vendor.
Can't wait to get them, but I'll tell you - I'll deal with this guy anytime. Honest, straight forward, and true to his word.
Ah, NO ! I'm not his brother-in-law....
Just wanted to tell you all that this guy makes some great looking grips and even though the site might say "5-7 days" for shipping, he makes these to order and by hand. I appreciate a true craftsman at work; and especially one who admits to making a mistake now and again. (Like any of us haven't)
So, 2-3 days from now I ought to have some pretty snazzy grips for my Kimber !!
