Opened up my safe yesterday morning, keypad worked fine.
Tried to open it last night, keypad failed.
Thought, "well, ****."
Went online to price a new pad, $25. Okay, not the end of the world.
Watched a video on how to install a new pad. Easy enough.
Then, I noticed a comment below the video.
Someone had called Stack-on and rather than sell the guy a part, the representative said, try this first:
Take the battery out, press each button five times, then put the battery back in.
Today, I pressed each button 5 times in sequence starting from the top then going left to right, until I finished with the # key.
I'll be damned, it worked.
