    Looking for a magazine pouch

    Hey all,

I' am looking for a magazine pouch for my tasco telescoping stock on an AR. the tough part is I use 10 round magazines so anyone know of a pouch kind like this for 2 10 rounders? I can't find any for 10 rounders just 20 and 30s

Why not just get a couple 10/30 round pmags or 10/20? They're easier to manipulate as well.

Cause I Already have 10s.... Cheaper to get one pouch than a couple new mags I'd think. Not to mention I' am not gonna get rid of em even if I did lol more mags = more death dealing :<)..

Probably just have to go with a grenade pouch or nothing and start buying the 20s. I' am not sure if the stock holders will fit the two 10's. They might since they hold 30s I don't see why two 10s wouldn't fit.

I've used grenade/frag pouches - they fit well, but I don't like the buckle...

Currently I use Condor MA24:http://www.condoroutdoor.com/ma24ope...emagpouch.aspx while not ideal, it is a pretty good fit...

The best option is Voodoo Tactical 308 mag pouch (item #20-9014): http://www.majorsurplus.com/308-Mag-...5240C2235.aspx - fit is perfect (I test fit at Major Surplus, the store next to Voodoo's warehouse) - the problem is, no one in the country has black in stock (and other colors are very, very limited)... they have been waiting for new inventory for months... that's why I researched for alternatives and found the Condor (interim only, when the VT become available, I'm getting a bunch!).

The 10 rd, vs 10/20 - 10/30 debate has been beaten to death... no point in rehashing that... if you dont like using 10 rd, so be it (but its not something you need to create debate about).

ummmm???? You must be talking about another poster.....I went to 10's after a 30 round pmag cause my AR to highside and fall off the table... lol Haven't tried a 20 yet but I like the 10 round stoners cause they're alot cheaper and smaller. Not sure why I'd want to pay for something bigger that doesn't actually hold more ammo...How's that for creating some debate

As for the rest of your post thanks Damned that's about what I' am lookiong for. To bad I can't find any 10's on paddles or for stocks. Keep an eye out if you see any pm me please.

no dude, that wasnt directed to you (or anyone in particular) - just a general statement to all, because these threads typically turn into a "why use a 10 rd" debate instead of what the thread is really about...

for your stock mount mag - you might consider this: http://store.commandarms.com/products/MPS.html - they are 13-ish various online (Botach list them for 13 otd: http://www.botachtactical.com/caamps.html)... I didnt chose this pouch because it's profile sticks out too far (for me) - but I do like the retention design, it looks like it would be quick and easy to use - and on a buttstock, the profile wouldnt be much of an issue (as it would on belt or chest rig).
