Gun lock for a Bushmaster Carbon-15

Hey all,

Kinda stupid, but here goes. Went to pick up my Bushie (California Edition) today, so I need a gun lock. Bought a cable type which the guy at the gun shop accepted. Asked him how to put it on since the mag is not detachable . Ya that's what the guy looked like. So, any locks for these rifles out there? CTD has something called the "Life Jacket", about $20. What do you think?

I use Mogul Lifejacket on my handguns

The LJ-2 is made of steel and nothing goes inside the trigger guard. If I had a Bushmaster, the LJ-4 is what I would use on it.
