    Surefire Suppressor Lead Time

Hi everyone, I just bought and paid for a Surefire Mini Suppressor for my AR. Of course, during the buying process, I was told it would take 70 days from start to finish. I went to the shop to turn in some paperwork and the owner is now saying possibly 1 year (after they got my money of course).

Anyone here have any experience with this and can tell me how long it took you to get your suppressor? Thx.

unfortunately, most of us in CA would have no idea on the lead time for Surefire to make you a suppressor since Joe Public can't own them in CA.

Once it is made, it will still have to be Form 2'ed to your AZ dealer, and that can take a month or more.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I'm on board with the Federal Tax Stamp lead time, but the owner is saying that Surefire may or may not be putting joe public orders in the order it was received, but behind LE and Military orders. I'm just hoping that production is winding down a little for the militaryy and LE......hoping they already have what they need.

I have heard of delays in manufacturing/shipping due to our current military engagements, a year sounds long though.

That's pretty sneaky. I would ask for a refund as long as no paperwork has been done yet.

Why not try calling Surefire? Their customer service seems pretty good.
