    Magazine organization problem

Got all these magazines, 22 plus and I am going to purchase 6 more and the picture illustrates the poor organization I have for them. Have a Condor case and the mags are all loose, banging into each other and a pain to find the correct one, with the correct round in it. Any solutions to this problem? Looking at in-line single stack pouches but I am trying to not add more stuff to my range gear.

my 1911 case has the set up pictured, I would like to find something like this for all my mags, pistol and AR that will slip into my Condor bag, maybe with a strong back. If I could sew I would make one myself.

What you are trying to do would be pretty easy to make, if you had upholstery/sewing machine experience. When I looked at the pictures a whole bunch of ideas came to mind for a really nice custom bag.. Only problem is that people who do custom stuff generally wouldn't want to do it because it would almost be a waste of time, money wise. The second thought in my head after all the ideas came to mind was "I bet I'd lose money doing something like this."

So, my suggestion to you would be either to buy some elastic webbing and simply add slots to your bag OR see if you can find a custom upholsterer in your area that is hurting for money and might make you a custom bag for a low price. Probably unlikely on the latter. If you can manage to get a sewing machine (Doesn't have to be anything more than a household one that someone's mother probably has in the garage) and need some pointers on how to sew webbing to be tight and even, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Ammo cans. That is not too many magazines, so a couple of .30 cal ammo cans will do nicely (one for each magazine type). I would recommend buying more magazines, at least 10 for each firearm (if you own two AR's then 20 magazines).

You can never have too many mags.

            Color code???

Put a square of colored tape on each side.

Doesn't help with the organization or them banging into each other constantly. Plus I can visually tell the difference between the 1911, glock, xd and ar mags, they are already all different colors and shapes.

I am going to look for a local person to do so and I was going to buy a sewing machine but I don't think a walmart special will have the throat in order the sew the pieces on.

I used harbor freight magnets to organize my mags in the safe. Maybe magnets inside a pocket in a range bag or stuck inside a ammo can will keep them from moving around as long as they arent polymer or stainless steel. Just an idea.

for the safe... i use plastic trays/containers to store magazines where the appropriate guns are located. i've got lots of semi autos with similar looking magazines, so i had to get organized in the safe. helpful reminder; buy a safe you will grow into rather than one you will grow out of.

get a range bag that has sections on the inside and outside that can facilitate your magazines. i believe Midway has a decent one at a great price when on sale.

The Blackhawk Sportster two Pistol Range Bag works great for me to hold up to eight mags in 8 separate mag slots inside the bag besides two pistols.
Plus you have two outside compartments.

The Blackhawk Sportser shooter bag is a lightweight easy way for military and special operations professionals to carry all of their shooting gear. This carrying bag is b
