I can tell you what/how I did it....

Using some drill-in anchors of 3/4" diameter, (they don't really need to be that heavy) I drilled the holes into the concrete. Leaving a lot of threads above, I think that the bolts were about 6" long. I then used a nut and washer on each bolt to level all four bolts before putting the safe over them. However, before I installed the safe, I also used some very heavy, stainless steel pipe to slide over the leveling nuts and washers and sit on the floor, leaving just enough room to set the safe on the leveling washers, (we're talking a hair below). Once I set those sleeves over the bolts, I then set the safe over all of the above and washered and nutted on the interior of the safe. The reason that I put the stainless steel pipe over the bolts was to try and prevent any easy sawing of the bolts, cutting through the stainless, then the bolts, then more stainless, four times just seemed like it would be too much work to steal.

The safe actually sits about 3-1/2" above the floor. Didn't really need it that high, but I wanted enough clearance to sweep under there once in awhile and up off of the damp concrete.

My safe has been sitting that way for 30 years in my garage. Since it's up off of the concrete floor, there is no worry of water damage from a leak/water on the floor, although there are some spiders living amongst the dark recesses there.

That's just the way that I did it. YMMV

What a coincidence. After talking with a few FOLSOM PD guys today I went to Home Depot and bought some bolts to bolt my safe in to the ground today. Seems with all the burgs we've been having in this town, safes are going missing. Even heavy 1000lb safes.

I went to HD and purchased two 1/2" x 4 1/4 Red head wedge anchors. I also bought a 1/2 masonry bit to drill in the concrete as I already had the 1/2 drill bit to drill through the safe. The entire project took me about an hour with a hammerdrill and cost me a little under $9.00.

I used to be in construction so I know this safe is not going anywhere as these are some big anchors. If the safe moves, the entire neighborhood will know. If you want details of how to do it PM me and I will give you a step by step how too.
