So if you want Western and an off the shelf solution, Triple K makes their drop loop Cheyenne model for double action revolvers in both natural and black. The model for a K/L frame S&W would handle a Python. If you poke around the webz a bit you can beat the factory prices.
Otherwise, any number of custom makers could execute any manner or drop loop holster for you and a belt in leather to go with it. Custom can get spendy and you often have to wait.
If you want tactical, you can go with cheap Chinese / universal crap available for peanuts off Ebay up to custom designs in Kydex. Try Googling "custom revolver holster" and you can find all manner of options. -- Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun
