I purchased a Canon safe today.

I didnt have much money and it was either a new rifle or a safe. I went with the safe and wanted something that wasnt to easy to move around. I wish I could have afforded another 500 bucks but not this time around. I know theres better safes out there but I couldnt find anything at this size at the price these got for.

The Big question is how in the heck am I going to get this in the house when it arrives

Does anyone have a canon safe, do you like yours????

    Heres what I got
    Canon american eagle
    Model AE31
    Weight: 600 lbs.
    Capacity: 18 to 36 rifles
    Measurements in inches: 60 high x 36 wide x 24 deep
    Door Thickness: 1/4” steel door
    Body Thickness: 12 gauge steel

I picked two up at Costco a few years ago. The only problem with any safe is that no matter how big it is, you will need a bigger one soon. You did right by buying the safe now and the new rifle later.

A great big dolly and friends, a 600 pounder is not hard to move. Wait till you move up to a 1500 pound plus.

Also, sometimes the movers will put it in the house. Ask them nicely and flash a $20.

I have a Cannon AE22. I love it. I have not had any problems with it. The finish inside and out is great and the mechanics are well built and it's sturdy. I can't ask for much more.

Plus, they have a great warranty.

I wish i would have bought twice the size.
Delivery guy will put safe where you want it. That is if cannon delivers safe.

Furnature dolly & 2 people is all you need.

If you really want to do it yourself rent a pallet jack.

Mine weighed 3,725 lbs and 4 guys got it in (3 movers & me).

                        $800 for the safe.
With tax It came to like $860.00
                        Shipping was $140.00

                        So it was $1000.00 delivered.
I did some more research today and I think I got a pretty good deal. I didnt see much out there in that price range that had a 600 lb safe that is 3 feet wide. I found some that may have been a little better about the same price but they wanted $350 just for shipping.
Maybe when I move to Nevada some day I will get something bigger, lol

                            One man job

I got a Liberty safe. One guy delivered it. He used 1 pallet jack to position it off of the truck. Off the lift gate to another pallet jack. Moved it into the house. Used small 2 X $'s to lower it onto the floor, drilled and bolted it in. Guy was done under an hour.

                            It was amazing
