    do need another drag bag?

my condor seems be closer to the end. not sure if it's repairable looking for a local seamstress since (or even worth the labor). it's probably my 2nd oldest bag due to tactical errors with the collection growing and getting longer so i always find myself having to get a longer rifle bag. i use it as a double rifle bag too and because they're scoped is what i figure puts the stress to that tear.

any other advantage for a drag bag vs. just a regular and rectangular bag that'll fit my longest rifles. longest is probably the 5r with the savage axis (can't recall my longest AR15 or aR10). also to avoid any possible fiasco if pulled over that i can easily grab the rifle even if the zipper tabs are locked with that tear.

recommendations that can easily hold 2 but not feel like it'll stress the seams? life is easier just carrying 1 bag since i have my ammo bag + my brass catcher. if i still had a car with a lockable trunk, won't worry much but the crv won't meet transportation laws w/o locks.

I don't know man, that looks well used and well loved. If the zippers are all good I'd hit the local cleaners and find that girl the sews patches on jackets etc... see what she can do for $40. You know, on the bag I mean.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

You know how to drag... but do you know how to sew?

i don't know these days but i'm contemplating it! i have some old shorts where the only problem was the garter was worn and the alteration shop said go buy new ones. me fixing this will cost you probably more than a new one. the world seems to tend more and more disposable.

i also have a trapshooting pouch where the slit where the belt goes also is tearing. i just want someone to run it thru a sewing machine to close up the tear. perfectly working bag and who cares how it looks behind the pouch area.

i'll check and ask for an opinion. just that with the seams don't give much to work with. the bag is perfectly functional aside from that. i have like 7 bags aside from this one (2 hard case from the ptr91 and i think my pws lar-308). can't recall how the heck i built up a bag collection too other than buying for the size of the purchase then that won't fit older ones.

kewl! i think this might be cheaper than getting my trap pouch fixed or buying a new one. (mainly when we do doubles though i just bought a second single box only w/o catch net). hopefully the needle is strong enough to penetrate the trap pouch material or my dockers to fix an area losing its stitching.

dang.. i should've asked my filipino tailor in daly city when i was near to be hs intern just to do basic stuff.
i'll need magnifying glasses to get that thread in the needle though at my old age!

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

Clean up the edges, add velcro and make another pouch.

Get some 10lb mono fishing line and sew that up. Bonus points if you use a fish hook to do it.

My Blackhawk drag bag has taken a helluva beating and keeps delivering the goods for over a dozen years, VooDoo knocked them off but still not as good as Blackhawk?s, I own one of each.
