Hey fellas, I have been looking at purchasing a case for a while now, and have been wondering what are the major differences between Pelican and Storm/Hardigg? other than price.

I was going to get a Storm case for my AR, but Pelican made a case a little smaller that was perfect. I'm very happy with it and got it for a great price. $160 for a Pelican 1720 from LAPolice gear.
Other than that I don't think there is much of a difference. They both have pressure release valves which are important for that trip to Nevada. Please, calm down. -
I believe the release latches are different. With the Hardigg/ Storm, you have to depress a button under spring tension before lifting the latch. You should be able to see what I mean if you look at the pictures. To my recollection, Pelican cases do not have the same feature if that added level of security is important to you.
I don't think you can go wrong with either one..Comment
