Anyone familiar with a similar material, such as Brooks Tactical AGrip

Wondering if anyone is familiar with a material similar to that used in products such as Brooks Tactical A Grip...it has a rubbery felt like grip feel with an adhesive backing...that is stretchable/conformable to a degree.

I've used a number of different products over the years and i seem to favor this type of material....wondering if there was something similar out there that i could try

not a big fan of the sandpaper snowboard or skateboard tape...too rough on my hands

i've tried the type of felt that one might line a wood box, but they do not tend to have much of any grip to it.

I've been running the Brooks Tactical A grip since the mid 90's. They don't seem to be well known, but they outclass everything else I have ever tried. The material is typicaly called "Ultra Suede" and basically a synthetic corse side out leather.

What do you intend to try it on? I've got a spare one around here somewhere.

I ran them on my big Glocks over the years. Peels right off and you've got the next best thing to an untouched lower after twenty years.

Brooks was really active on GlockTalk back in the day. Then Eric sold it to the Canucks and I moved my interests closer to home.

Aw Carp! Just found the G20/21 AGrip package. Nothing but the little magazine strips inside. Too many mags to even bother trying to keep up.

i really like the material, the quality of the grip and feel.

i have a friend that is struggling with a neurologic disease. i thought we might try it on several of his tools and firearms. it's a great product but rather expensive for its size.

had hoped to find something very similar that might be more favorably priced.
