    S&W Shield Holsters

Does anyone know if the new versions of the Shield and the original versions fit the same holsters?

Looks like it, at least per Concealment Express.

I think it would depend on the holster and how precisely the shell grips the gun? I own a Shield 1.0 and a Crossbreed Supertuck. I just put a Shield Plus into jail yesterday but in comparing the grip width of the two guns, the Shield Plus definitely has a slightly wider grip than my Shield 1.0.

As soon as I get it out of jail, I will test and see how the Plus fits into my Crossbreed Shield 1.0 holster. Crossbreed has different models for the Shield 1.0 and the Shield Plus so there must be some small differences?

the only dimensional differences between shields and shield plus are in the grip. As such, holsters which aren't molded to the hand-grip should be fine.

Both my brother and I switched from shields to shield pluses without changing any holsters.

Good to know. I may refresh my Crossbreed Supertuck Horsehide anyway. Been carrying it for 8 years and it's nicely broken in, but the lower left flank seems to always bend up, doesn't fit flat against my thigh.
